  15.           xxxxwwwwaaaaiiiissssqqqq is an X Windows based client for the WAIS system.  It
  16.           is the application used for modifying and submitting
  17.           questions to a WAIS server.

  19.           This application is heavily dependant on the X Toolkit
  20.           resource mechanism.  Questions are stored to the user's
  21.           "questionDirectory" (usually ~/wais-questions) and can be
  22.           retrieved using this application.

  24.           A question is posed in three parts:
  25.  
  26.           1.  Search words, labeled "Tell me about"
  27.           2.  Sources, labeled "In Sources"
  28.           3.  Relevance Feedback, labeled "Similar to"
  29.  
  30.           Search words can be entered into the "Tell me about" frame
  31.           by simply typing into the frame.  Pressing return will
  32.           initiate the search (however, if you have not yet specified
  33.           a source, you'll be warned, and no search will actually
  34.           occur).

  36.           To add a source  to  a question, press  "Add Source", and
  37.           select the source from the popup  menu.  To remove  a source
  38.           from  the question,  select the source, and click on the
  39.           "Delete Source" button.

  41.           To add a document to a question, select the document in the
  42.           Result Document list, and press "Add Document".   To remove
  43.           a document  from the question, select the document, and
  44.           click on the "Delete Document" button.

  46.           When  you have you question completely  defined, you can
  47.           search the sources by pressing the "Search" button, or
  48.           <RETURN> in the "Tell me about" window.

  50.           To view  a resulting  document, select the  document and
  51.           press  the "View" button.  A  new Document  window  will
  52.           appear.    If you'd like to see  the keywords matched, press
  53.           the "Find Key" button.   To save the document  to a file,
  54.           press  the "Save to  File"  button.  When  you are finished
  55.           with the document, press "Done" button in the Document
  56.           window.

  59.           using  the "Done" button.  Any changes to the question  will

  102.           unable to find the proper resource file, it will most likey
  103.           become unusable.

  106.           too small, some buttons may be lost.
